Datron's 60,000 RPM Spindle means less force and less tool breakage.

60,000 RPM Spindle: Today, there is a trend toward miniaturization in manufacturing. The abundance of intricate work pieces has resulted in a demand for small tools and an efficient means of running them. While, conventional CNC machines use big motors designed with enough force and horsepower to run large, rugged tools, these characteristics are devastating to fragile, small tools. But, since Datron’s singular focus is on the micro-tooling niche, all of our machines feature high-frequency, low force 60,000 RPM spindles. The blazing speed of the spindle evacuates chips, and the heat associated with them, from the cutting channel. It also results in lower machining forces and less vibration. All of this facilitates exceptionally high feed rates and improves the quality of the cut and surface finish.
